fabrics, faux-leather, steel. 230 x 150 cm

Up there (2011) is made of nine layers of transparent fabrics ( about H 230 cm x W 150 cm), sewn together at the top and hanging as a banner. On each of the layers is attached one rectangular piece of faux-leather. The piece reveals a vision of stairs. The progressive size reduction of the rectangular forms create an effect of depth, reinforced by the visual vanishing in the layers.
On one hand, the piece is conceived in a very primary form, with rhythm and geometrical forms, on the other hand, it appears as very poetic in the way its vision fades in depth as a metaphor of a dream or a Memory.
